About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve common architecture products describing Application Software Services within the SMPES program.
- Conduct technical reviews of design and development specifications for software applications and systems.
- Develop, update, and manage engineering artifacts throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.
- Track and report on architecture compliance, design changes, and integration status.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with Air Force C2 requirements.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in systems engineering principles and software architecture.
- Experience with design review processes and documentation standards.
- Knowledge of Command and Control (C2) systems and defense acquisition environments.
- Excellent communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
