Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across on‑prem and cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable Linux‑based infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.
- Configure and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Automate deployment and configuration using scripting languages (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and updates to ensure uptime and security compliance.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and enforce best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing Linux servers in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization and container technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and automation tools.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services.
