Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer/Administrator responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Linux environments, managing AD, virtualization platforms, and network services for a high‑security government client.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems in a TS/SCI environment.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account lifecycle.
- Deploy and administer virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V) to support mission‑critical workloads.
- Monitor network services, troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN issues, and ensure secure connectivity.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation tools for system provisioning and patch management.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- 3+ years of experience with Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory administration.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V) and network fundamentals.
- Strong scripting skills, preferably PowerShell, for automation and configuration management.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑security environment.
