Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise infrastructure on Linux, Windows Server, and cloud platforms, leveraging virtualization, scripting, and networking expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage server and network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.
- Deploy and maintain virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar technologies.
- Automate routine tasks and configuration management with Python, PowerShell, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability and security compliance.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to support application deployments and incident response.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience administering Linux and Windows Server systems.
- Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud services (AWS or Azure).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell for automation.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
- Experience with monitoring tools, configuration management, and security best practices.
