Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure on AWS, managing Linux servers, automating configuration with Ansible, and monitoring performance with Prometheus to ensure high availability and security.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and cost efficiency.
- Administer Linux servers, perform regular patching, hardening, and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools to detect and resolve incidents proactively.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to enforce best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and remediate findings.
- Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and runbooks to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or DevOps roles.
- Strong proficiency with Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM).
- Proficient in configuration management using Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
