Systems Engineer
Mid‑level Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, with a focus on AWS, networking, virtualization, and security automation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Windows and Linux server environments in both cloud (AWS) and on‑premise data centers.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell, Python, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Apply security best practices, perform vulnerability assessments, and support incident response.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver disaster‑recovery solutions and ensure high availability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Windows Server and Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM) and cloud networking concepts.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and security tools.
