Systems Engineer 3 - Linux/PKI/Crypto/SSP/STE/STN/AWS - Captivation Software

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure for secure applications.
• Configure and manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) components, including certificate issuance, revocation, and lifecycle management.
• Implement cryptographic solutions and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate SSP, STE, and STN security controls into software releases.
• Operate and troubleshoot AWS environments, optimizing cost and performance while maintaining security posture.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and incident responses for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Linux system administration and scripting.
• Hands‑on knowledge of PKI, certificate management, and cryptographic protocols.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, IAM, KMS, CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (SSP, STE, STN) and compliance requirements.
• Current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance.
