About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve production incidents affecting non‑relational database services, ensuring minimal downtime for global customers.
- Collaborate with Development, Operations, and IT Support teams to coordinate root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term fixes.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and monitoring tools to improve incident response and system reliability.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, providing 24/7 support for critical service disruptions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, documenting best practices and updating operational playbooks.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS services and non‑relational database technologies (e.g., DynamoDB, DocumentDB).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of systems engineering principles, including performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, capable of conveying technical details to cross‑functional teams.
