About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑availability data streaming services such as Kinesis Data Streams, Kafka, and Flink on AWS.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate SQS and SNS for event‑driven architectures.
- Implement security controls and compliance measures for U.S. Government workloads.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of streaming pipelines.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of systems development experience in cloud environments.
- Proficiency with AWS services (Kinesis, Kafka, Flink, SQS, SNS) and related tooling.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and observability in production.
- U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one.
