QA Engineer
Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions for government services, leveraging Windows Server, Red Hat, and VMware technologies while ensuring compliance with DoD security standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and automate system provisioning, configuration, and patch management across Windows Server and Red Hat environments.
- Design and maintain virtualized infrastructure using VMware technologies to meet performance and security requirements.
- Implement security controls and monitoring in accordance with DoD 8570, Security+, and CISSP best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate automation tools into CI/CD pipelines and government service platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of IT experience, including 1–2 years of hands‑on automation work.
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and/or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
- Ability to maintain a minimum Secret U.S. government security clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
- Strong scripting/automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and experience with configuration management tools.
