About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end‑to‑end cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Define and enforce security controls, compliance standards, and threat mitigation strategies for classified environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
- Lead DevOps initiatives, automating CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring for rapid, reliable deployments.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience designing and deploying large‑scale cloud architectures, with deep knowledge of AWS services.
- Strong background in security engineering, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks for classified projects.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
