Systems Analyst responsible for designing and optimizing secure, scalable AWS environments for sensitive workloads, leveraging cloud, AI, and ML technologies while ensuring compliance with Australian security standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly secure AWS architectures for sensitive Australian workloads.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI and ML services into production environments.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and ensure compliance with Australian Government security requirements.
- Document system designs, operational procedures, and best‑practice guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance and support during incident response and performance tuning.
Requirements
- Australian citizenship and eligibility for an Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
- Hands‑on knowledge of security frameworks, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools such as SageMaker, Rekognition, or Comprehend.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
