About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Zero Trust Architecture components across hybrid environments.
- Virtualize servers and network services using platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V to improve scalability and resilience.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, analyze findings, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Develop and implement security policies, hardening guides, and monitoring solutions for both Linux and Windows systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into existing and new infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Active security clearance (DoD‑level) and 5+ years of systems or network security experience.
- Hands‑on expertise with Zero Trust frameworks and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys) and remediation processes.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, scripting (PowerShell or Bash), and network protocols.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
