Systems Engineer
Mid‑level Systems Administrator and Platform Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end infrastructure, from onboarding laptops and identity management to operating .NET microservices on Kubernetes and automating cloud and on‑prem deployments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux workstations for developers and staff, handling identity, licensing, and security policies.
- Design, deploy, and operate .NET/C# microservices on Kubernetes clusters across public‑cloud and air‑gapped on‑prem environments.
- Implement infrastructure‑as‑code and automation pipelines (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell, Bash) to streamline platform provisioning and updates.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security; respond to incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines deliver reliable releases.
- Maintain documentation of architecture, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing Windows and Linux systems in a mixed‑environment.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes orchestration and containerized .NET/C# applications.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation using PowerShell and Bash; familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or similar.
- Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, collaborative team.
