Systems Engineer
Systems Administrator responsible for managing and securing end‑user devices, including Windows workstations and shared Chromebooks, by implementing endpoint management, identity, and access control solutions while providing Tier 2/3 support.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain endpoint management policies for Windows devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and SCCM.
- Configure, monitor, and support shared Chromebook fleets, ensuring compliance with corporate security standards.
- Manage identity and access controls through Active Directory and Azure AD, including group policy, conditional access, and MFA enforcement.
- Develop and document repeatable processes, standard operating procedures, and device hardening guidelines.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and security incidents, escalating from the Help Desk as needed.
- Collaborate with the Chief Innovation Technology Officer to define device lifecycle, security baselines, and reliability improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience administering Windows environments and managing enterprise‑wide endpoint solutions (Intune, SCCM).
- Proficiency with Chrome OS device management and related admin consoles.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and identity‑access management best practices.
- Hands‑on scripting ability with PowerShell for automation and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience implementing security controls, patch management, and device compliance frameworks.
