Experienced Systems Administrator responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining secure Linux/Windows infrastructures, virtual environments, and database systems while ensuring compliance and reliable access for global stakeholders.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure server and virtual infrastructure across Linux and Windows platforms.
- Develop and manage database architectures, data models, and naming standards to guarantee data integrity.
- Configure, monitor, and harden network security controls, firewalls, and access management solutions.
- Automate routine tasks and system provisioning using PowerShell and shell scripting.
- Implement backup, disaster‑recovery, and patch‑management processes to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with global teams to provide compliant, reliable access to systems and services.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience administering Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V) and network security best practices.
- Strong knowledge of relational database design, SQL, and data governance.
- Experience scripting with PowerShell or Bash for automation and configuration management.
- Solid understanding of backup/recovery solutions and ITIL‑style incident response.
