Manage and support Windows and Linux environments, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools to ensure reliable, secure operations for government-focused technology services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management services.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud resources on AWS, including EC2, S3, and VPC networking.
- Implement and manage virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V) and container solutions.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash to streamline routine tasks and deployments.
- Collaborate with security and development teams to apply patches, harden systems, and support CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Systems Administrator in Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency with AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Experience scripting with PowerShell and Bash for automation and configuration management.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
