About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring 99.9% uptime for mission‑critical applications.
- Manage Active Directory, group policies, and user access controls in a highly secure, TS/SCI‑approved setting.
- Implement and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts for automation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access solutions.
- Oversee virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMware) and cloud services (AWS) to optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct regular security assessments, patch management, and compliance audits to meet stringent security requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a secure or government environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, PowerShell, networking, and virtualization.
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST, DoD) and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Valid TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph required.
