Software Engineer
Design and execute test and validation programs for onboard charger hardware, develop automated test rigs, analyze performance data, and ensure compliance with automotive standards using Python, C++, LabVIEW, and CAN communication.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and validation protocols for onboard charger (OBC) hardware.
- Design, build, and program automated test rigs using LabVIEW, Python, and C++ to evaluate efficiency, thermal performance, and safety.
- Execute functional, performance, and stress tests, collect and analyze data, and generate detailed test reports.
- Collaborate with hardware design, firmware, and systems teams to troubleshoot issues and drive design improvements.
- Ensure all testing complies with automotive standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61851) and document results for certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in test and validation of power electronics, preferably onboard chargers.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and LabVIEW for test automation.
- Strong knowledge of CAN bus communication and automotive safety standards.
- Hands‑on experience with power‑electronics measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal cameras).
