Software Engineer
Lead safety engineering for aerospace systems, driving safety analysis, risk assessment, and compliance with ISO 26262 and DO-178C. Own safety cases, validate safety requirements, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission‑critical safety.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive safety analyses (FMEA, fault tree, hazard analysis) for complex aerospace systems.
- Develop, maintain, and validate safety cases and safety documentation in accordance with ISO 26262 and DO-178C standards.
- Lead risk assessment activities, define safety requirements, and ensure traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with design, verification, and integration teams to embed safety into all phases of development.
- Perform safety validation and verification activities, including test planning, execution, and results analysis.
- Provide expert guidance on safety-related decisions and support certification efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in safety engineering for aerospace or automotive domains.
- Deep knowledge of ISO 26262, DO-178C, and related safety standards.
- Proficiency in safety analysis tools and documentation practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
