About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own upstream product planning, defining system logic and product specifications for the SaaS lifecycle.
- Analyze competitors, identify market gaps, and translate findings into clear product requirements.
- Map backend logic, relational data structures, and state‑machine workflows into implementation‑ready PRDs and diagrams.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA to ensure specifications are actionable and meet quality standards.
- Maintain product documentation, API references, and technical specs to support cross‑functional teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management for SaaS products with a systems‑oriented focus.
- Strong understanding of API documentation, relational databases, and state‑machine design.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to dissect complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Effective communicator with the ability to create clear diagrams, PRDs, and technical documentation.
- Experience working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high‑quality products.
