Implementation Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure defence systems, integrating complex hardware and software components on Linux platforms using Python, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy integrated defence solutions on Linux-based platforms, ensuring compliance with stringent security and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, design interfaces, and validate integration points.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python, leveraging Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment and testing.
- Perform rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of integrated systems in simulated and real operational environments.
- Document system architecture, integration procedures, and operational guidelines for future maintenance and upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience in system integration for defence or high‑security domains.
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration, networking protocols, and security best practices.
- Hands‑on expertise with Python, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
