About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain availability matrices, ensuring instruments meet uptime targets across production cycles.
- Lead reliability studies, including failure mode analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with system function architects to integrate manufacturability and serviceability requirements into design and production.
- Drive safety compliance, performing hazard analyses and contributing to safety documentation and audits.
- Analyze performance data, generate reports, and recommend improvements to enhance overall system function.
Requirements
- Proven experience in reliability, availability, manufacturability, and serviceability engineering within high‑precision instrumentation or semiconductor equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in failure analysis tools and statistical methods.
- Knowledge of RAMS principles, safety standards, and metrology instrument design.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Reliability Engineering) preferred.
