Systems Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of virtual infrastructure across hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security using VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM, and Linux platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and manage virtualized environments (VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, KVM) for production and test systems.
- Automate deployment and configuration using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and configuration management tools.
- Monitor performance, capacity, and health of virtual infrastructure, applying patches and upgrades.
- Collaborate with application teams to optimize workloads and ensure compliance with security and compliance standards.
- Document processes, create runbooks, and provide technical guidance to support staff.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in virtualization technologies and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper‑V, and KVM ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
