Software Architect
Lead the design and integration of onboard charger systems, driving architecture, firmware, and power electronics to meet automotive standards and performance targets.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop the overall system design for automotive onboard chargers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Lead firmware development for power electronics controllers, implementing robust, real‑time control algorithms on embedded Linux platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to integrate hardware and software components, validate interfaces, and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct performance analysis, thermal and power‑efficiency studies, and drive continuous improvement of charger modules.
- Prepare technical documentation, design reviews, and support certification activities (ISO 26262, IEC 61800).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems and power electronics for automotive applications.
- Proficiency in C/C++ firmware development, Linux kernel modules, and real‑time operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of CAN bus protocols, power converter topologies, and thermal management.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, teamwork, and effective communication in English.
