Senior System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining high‑performance server, storage, and networking infrastructures using Linux, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable server and storage solutions for enterprise and cloud environments.
- Configure and manage Linux-based systems, virtual machines, and container platforms to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Deploy and maintain networking components, including switches, routers, and firewalls, ensuring secure and efficient data flow.
- Automate routine tasks and configuration management using scripting languages (Bash, Python) and IaC tools.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering or related roles.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, and security best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) and familiarity with configuration management tools.
