Systems Engineer
System Engineer responsible for managing Windows server infrastructure, Azure cloud services, and Office 365 environments. Requires deep expertise in PowerShell scripting, AD synchronization, and security compliance to maintain high availability and robust security across on‑prem and cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage Microsoft Azure resources, including virtual machines, networking, and storage, while implementing best‑practice security controls.
- Configure and troubleshoot Office 365 services, including user provisioning, mailbox management, and compliance features.
- Implement and monitor Azure AD Connect to synchronize on‑premises Active Directory objects with Azure AD.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks such as patch deployment, user account management, and reporting.
- Conduct regular security reviews, enforce patch management policies, and remediate vulnerabilities to meet compliance standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience administering Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022).
- Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Azure services and Azure AD Connect.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and configuration management.
- Solid understanding of Office 365 administration and security best practices.
- Experience with patch management, vulnerability assessment, and compliance monitoring.
