About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full systems engineering lifecycle for space‑grade hardware and software, ensuring compliance with mission requirements and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, functional specifications, and integration test plans, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
- Conduct risk assessments, perform failure mode analysis, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain system integrity.
- Manage configuration control, change management, and documentation to support secure, traceable development.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of systems engineering experience in aerospace or defense environments.
- Proven expertise in requirements analysis, integration testing, and configuration management.
- Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain) and strong understanding of security protocols.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
