Systems Engineer
Senior System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise operating systems across Linux, Windows, and virtualized environments, leveraging containerization and cloud technologies to ensure high availability and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Linux and Windows Server infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Automate system provisioning and configuration using PowerShell, Ansible, and scripting.
- Deploy and orchestrate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes across on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and monitor system health.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability solutions for critical services.
- Provide 24/7 support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production incidents.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system administration and engineering.
- Deep knowledge of Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server ecosystems.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Hands‑on experience with VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and security best practices.
