System Engineer - Mixed Signal & Power Products - Texas Instruments
Systems Engineer
Design and validate mixed‑signal and power products, creating hardware and firmware solutions using C/C++, Python, and signal‑processing techniques for high‑performance semiconductor applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prototype mixed‑signal and power management hardware, including schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection.
- Write and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ and Python for device bring‑up, testing, and performance optimization.
- Perform signal‑processing analysis and modeling to meet specifications for analog, digital, and power domains.
- Execute hardware verification plans, including test‑bench development, automated test scripts, and failure analysis.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—design, layout, software, and product management—to drive product development from concept to production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded development and data analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with analog/digital circuit design, signal‑processing techniques, and power‑management architectures.
- Familiarity with hardware verification methodologies, test automation, and debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
