Systems Engineer
Mid‑level System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, high‑availability infrastructure across Windows and Linux platforms, leveraging cloud, virtualization, and automation tools to support mission‑critical operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Configure and maintain virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud resources (AWS, Azure).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and updates.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce hardening standards and incident response procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking protocols, and virtualization technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid security clearance or ability to obtain one is preferred.
