Systems Engineer
Senior System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable Linux‑based infrastructure, virtualized environments, and cloud services using AWS/Azure, with strong scripting and monitoring expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Linux servers, virtual machines, and containerized workloads across on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Configure and maintain networking components, including firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs to ensure high availability and security.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring using Python, Bash, and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and log‑analysis solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to proactively detect and resolve incidents.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to optimize performance, capacity, and cost of infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering, with deep knowledge of Linux administration.
- Proficient in networking concepts, virtualization (VMware, KVM), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
- Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
