Systems Engineer
System Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and validating RF and communications solutions for satellite, missile and airborne platforms, using C++, Python and Linux‑based test environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF hardware and software architectures for satellite, missile and airborne communication systems.
- Implement and maintain signal‑processing algorithms and link‑budget analyses to meet performance requirements.
- Develop and execute automated test plans using Python, C++ and Linux tools from factory test through flight validation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate subsystems, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with defense and commercial standards.
- Provide technical documentation, reports, and support for customers throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in RF engineering, satellite communications, or related defense systems.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming for embedded and test applications.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with signal‑processing techniques, link‑budget calculations, and RF measurement equipment.
