Systems Engineer
System Engineer responsible for defining and managing system‑level requirements for automotive domains, translating customer needs into detailed specifications, and ensuring seamless subsystem integration using Agile practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep domain expertise in automotive subsystems such as Body, Vehicle Access, Seating, and Lighting.
- Analyze customer requirements and convert them into clear, traceable system‑level specifications.
- Decompose high‑level requirements into detailed subsystem and feature requirements, maintaining consistency across the product hierarchy.
- Manage interfaces and integration points between multiple subsystems to guarantee functional coherence.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment, driving backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery milestones.
- Maintain and evolve system requirement artifacts, boundary diagrams, and interface control documents using SysML and related modeling tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience in system engineering for automotive applications, with strong knowledge of body, access, seating, or lighting systems.
- Hands‑on expertise with requirements management tools and modeling languages such as SysML.
- Solid understanding of Agile development processes and ability to act as a Product Owner or key contributor.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for analysis and validation of subsystem behavior.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into actionable specifications.
