Lead the deployment, optimization, and validation of the TRITON flood‑inundation model, ensuring accurate, efficient forecasts for mission planning using Python, C++, Fortran, GIS, and HPC techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain the TRITON hydrological model across distributed computing environments.
- Optimize model performance through code profiling, parallelization, and resource management.
- Validate forecasts against baseline data and conduct rigorous accuracy assessments.
- Collaborate with scientific teams to integrate new data sources and improve model physics.
- Document processes, produce technical reports, and support operational readiness for warfighter decision‑making.
Requirements
