Systems Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security across Linux, Windows, and virtualized environments using VMware and PowerShell automation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable IT infrastructure on Linux and Windows Server platforms.
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies for a secure enterprise environment.
- Deploy and administer VMware virtual machines, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
- Automate routine tasks and configuration management using PowerShell and Bash scripts.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform proactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support application deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a system administrator or engineer in a mid‑to‑large enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server ecosystems.
- Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network services.
- Experience with VMware vSphere and virtualization best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and basic networking concepts.
