Systems Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of secure, scalable cloud solutions for government clients, leveraging AWS, Linux, and DevOps practices to deliver reliable, compliant services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure, scalable AWS environments for government applications, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
- Configure and maintain Linux-based servers, networking, and storage solutions to meet high availability and performance requirements.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI and analytics services, enhancing customer engagement and operational insights.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and conduct root‑cause analysis to minimize downtime.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practices for internal use and client delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in government or regulated environments.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation) and Linux system administration.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with configuration management tools.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, client‑focused setting.
