About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of architects and engineers in PaaS, DevOps, Security, and IaaS domains.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud and platform services for global government deployments.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and governance across all projects.
- Collaborate with Program Office stakeholders to align technical solutions with mission objectives and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering or related roles within cloud and platform services.
- Proven expertise in PaaS, DevOps, Security, and IaaS architectures.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of government security standards and compliance frameworks.
