We are seeking a System Engineer responsible for the design, deployment, integration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, security systems, and low-voltage solutions. This role focuses on planning and implementing enterprise network environments, CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, and supporting IT infrastructure for internal operations and client projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and VPN solutions.
- Plan and implement structured cabling systems, network racks, patch panels, cable management, and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP-based CCTV surveillance systems, network video recorders (NVR), video management systems (VMS), and IP cameras.
- Install, configure, and support electronic access control systems, including door controllers, card readers, intercom systems, electric locks, and related security devices.
- Perform onsite installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of network and security systems.
- Configure VLANs, routing, switching, wireless networks, and basic network security policies.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server, virtualization platforms, and supporting IT infrastructure when required.
- Perform system upgrades, firmware updates, preventive maintenance, backup, and recovery.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and security system issues.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, as-built drawings, and installation records.
- Provide technical support during project implementation and post-installation maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and TCP/IP.
- Experience deploying and supporting CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, or other physical security solutions.
- Familiarity with structured cabling standards, rack installation, cable management, and low-voltage construction.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization platforms, and network services such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with network troubleshooting tools and system diagnostics.
- Ability to travel to customer sites and perform onsite installation and commissioning.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
