Systems Engineer
System Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of DeltaV and IT solutions, including network design, Windows system administration, virtualization, and first‑line support for OT hardware and software.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery from proposal through site acceptance, ensuring all DeltaV and IT components meet customer requirements.
- Design and implement wired and wireless networks supporting DeltaV and broader IT infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and administer Windows Server environments, including domain services and remote access solutions.
- Virtualize DeltaV systems within Windows OS environments to improve scalability and resource utilization.
- Provide first‑line troubleshooting for DeltaV and related IT hardware/software issues, escalating when necessary.
- Conduct customer workshops to gather requirements, present OT designs, and propose optimal solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience with DeltaV control systems and their integration into IT networks.
- Strong background in Windows Server administration, domain management, and remote access technologies.
- Hands‑on experience designing and deploying wired and wireless network infrastructures.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper‑V, VMware) for hosting OT applications.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to customers.
