Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and validation of e‑mobility powertrain and battery systems, ensuring seamless communication via CAN, LIN, and Ethernet while driving performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop e‑mobility powertrain and battery management solutions, integrating hardware and software components.
- Design and implement communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) to support real‑time data exchange between vehicle subsystems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define functional specifications, test plans, and validation procedures.
- Conduct system-level simulations, fault analysis, and performance optimization to meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions during prototype and production phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in system engineering for automotive or e‑mobility applications.
- Strong knowledge of battery management systems, power electronics, and industrial communication protocols.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS) and CAD software.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, teamwork, and communication in German and English.
