Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and validation of brake pedal sensor systems for automotive applications, ensuring high reliability and compliance with industry standards using embedded and automotive electronics expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate brake pedal sensor hardware and firmware, ensuring compliance with automotive safety standards.
- Integrate sensor modules into vehicle electronic architecture, managing communication over CAN bus and other automotive networks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (mechanical, software, quality) to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and iterative improvement of sensor performance and reliability.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and validation results for regulatory and internal audits.
Requirements
- Strong background in embedded systems and automotive electronics, with hands‑on experience in C/C++ development.
- Proficiency in sensor integration, CAN bus protocols, and automotive diagnostic tools.
- Experience with system architecture design, simulation (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink), and validation methodologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
