Systems Engineer
We are looking for a System Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑grade IT infrastructure, focusing on Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, automation scripts, and network services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Linux and Windows Server environments supporting critical business applications.
- Implement and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) to ensure optimal resource utilization and high availability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to streamline provisioning, patching, and monitoring tasks.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root‑cause analysis to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to configure firewalls, VPNs, and routing policies.
- Document system architectures, procedures, and change‑management records.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience administering Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell) and familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell DSC).
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
