Systems Engineer
System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions using Linux, networking, and AWS. Leverages automation tools like Ansible and scripting in Python to ensure high availability, security, and performance of enterprise systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Linux‑based infrastructure across on‑premises and AWS environments.
- Configure and maintain networking components (firewalls, load balancers, VPNs) to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Develop and maintain automation playbooks with Ansible and scripts in Python for configuration management, deployment, and monitoring.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement proactive capacity planning.
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to enforce best practices and compliance standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or similar roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and shell.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to system reliability.
