About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AI‑enabled system architectures for federal government projects, ensuring compliance with security clearance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI models into production environments, optimizing performance and reliability.
- Conduct system performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting across Linux and networked environments.
- Develop and enforce security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement remediation strategies.
- Document system designs, operational procedures, and best practices for knowledge transfer and audit readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on AI or machine learning infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration, networking, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to work within a security‑cleared environment and adhere to federal compliance standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to system optimization.
