Systems Engineer
Experienced System Administrator II responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure, handling advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, and support across servers, networks, and end‑user environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux server platforms, ensuring high availability and security.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of escalated incidents, diagnosing root causes and applying permanent fixes.
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware) and related storage/network resources.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks and system monitoring.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and reliability, proactively tuning resources to meet service level objectives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Windows Server and Linux administration in enterprise settings.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies and related management tools.
- Advanced scripting skills, preferably PowerShell, for automation and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical issues and provide tier‑2/3 support.
