About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor on‑premise and cloud servers (Linux/Windows) to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, firewalls, and VPNs for secure connectivity.
- Implement virtualization solutions (VMware/Hyper‑V) and manage resource allocation.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripts, improving efficiency.
- Apply security patches, conduct vulnerability assessments, and enforce compliance policies.
- Plan and execute backup/restore strategies and disaster recovery drills.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of hands‑on system administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Proficiency in networking concepts, routing, and firewall configuration.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Excellent scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.
