Systems Engineer
Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of on‑premises and cloud servers for ERP, LMS, and institutional applications, ensuring high availability, security, and seamless integration with state platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain on‑premises and cloud servers for ERP, LMS, website, email, and other institutional applications.
- Administer the college ERP and related academic/administrative systems (attendance, examinations, fees, feedback, reporting).
- Coordinate with ERP and software vendors, and state platforms such as unified university/college management systems for integrations, upgrades, and support.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security; implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Manage the college domain, email IDs, and identity management, ensuring secure access and compliance.
- Document procedures, maintain configuration management, and provide technical support to end users.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Hands‑on knowledge of ERP systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of email services, domain management, and identity/ access management.
- Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams.
