About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user accounts to support organizational needs.
- Monitor server performance, system health, and storage utilization, proactively addressing issues.
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security hardening to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Configure and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V, optimizing resource allocation.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and rapid recovery.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience administering Windows and Linux environments.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
