Systems Engineer
Responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across on‑premise and cloud environments using Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.
- Manage and monitor Linux and Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Configure and maintain virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell, Bash, and configuration management tools.
- Implement security best practices, perform regular patching, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to support application deployments and incident response.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a system administrator in a mixed Windows/Linux environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, routing, and firewall configuration.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
